The EiiF has joined an Open Letter sent by the Coalition for Higher Ambition to EU Heads of State and Governments requesting that EU’s recovery plans are linked to the objectives of the European Green Deal.
The 31 signatories of this letter represent millions of employees from Europe’s renewable energy and energy efficiency value chains across the electricity, heating, cooling, building and transport sectors.
The signatories stand behind the European Green Deal and urge the EU Commission to create this connection with the immediate stimulus packages. Today’s action addressing health and climate challenges across all policy areas and sectors will improve the well-being of citizens and the climate while strengthening Europe.
Industry can and is ready to deliver on the initiative. The EiiF has, since its foundation, been raising awareness of the largely untapped potential related to smart insulation – efficient insulation solutions save money, energy and can greatly reduce CO2 emissions.
