EiiF President Peter Hoedemaker opened and closed the webinar "Decarbonising Industry and the ICT Sector" (EUSEW 2020 side event) and EiiF Foundation Director Andreas Gürtler gave a presentation on the potential of industrial insulation to save energy and reduce emissions in industry and the ICT sector, and spoke about the multiple benefits of industrial insulation, for the global climate, the EU and the European industry.
Existing technologies and approaches were discussed in the webinar as well as possible short-term solutions and a long-term roadmap towards climate-neutrality. The interesting and insightful webinar was followed by a panel discussion.
