On Wednesday 11 December 2024, EiiF, together with the Swedish Standard Solutions Group (SSG) will organise a webinar covering the topic of pipe insulation and its profound impact on lowering CO₂ emissions and improving energy efficiency.
Correct insulation is vital for reducing industrial CO₂ emissions, because it significantly improves energy efficiency. Proper insulation minimizes heat loss, meaning less energy is required to maintain the desired temperature of fluids. This reduction in energy consumption directly translates to lower CO₂ emissions, as less fuel is burned to generate the necessary energy. Additionally, well-insulated pipes reduce the risk of leaks and the need for frequent maintenance, further cutting down on energy use and emissions.
In this webinar, Andreas Guertler and Luis Lopez from EiiF present the EN 17956 standard and show how to use it, comparing it to the Swedish standard SSG 7591E. Christer Wallin from SSG will provide insight into the SSG 7591E.
