Workshop Title: "Bridging policy and practice: industry experts meet policymakers to boost energy efficiency, lower emissions, and increase EU industry competitiveness"
Objective: The aim of the workshop is to delve into the broader challenge of why energy efficiency often takes a backseat in investment decisions within industrial companies, despite its clear benefits. Building on the technical insulation example, with insights from over 3.000 TIPCHECK audits carried out across industrial plants, industry experts will engage with EU policy makers to discuss the changes to shift this perspective and how policies and regulations can accelerate this process.
The workshop in Brussels will bring together a unique group of high-level industry representatives - CEOs, company owners, technical directors, marketing managers, and energy managers - offering insights directly from the heart of the industry.
